  • leek. A must-have for this recipe.
  • water.

3big carrot
2celery stick
4garlic clove
3grated ginger
1500gwhole chicken
400gegg noodles
olive oil

  1. Wash the chicken by adding water and lemon to a bowl- clean the chicken in the lemon water.
  2. Peel the onion, garlic cloves, celery, and ginger and chop everything. If you have a food processor, add all the fresh ingredients and blend until it becomes a paste.
  3. Wash, peel, and cut the carrots and leek into rings.
  4. Chop the cilantro and parsley.
  5. Add olive oil to a big pot and put it on the stove on medium-high heat.
  6. Saute the chopped garlic, onion, ginger, carrots, celery, and leek for about 1 minute.
  7. Add the water and salt to the pot. Add the whole chicken and let it cook.
  8. When the water is boiling, add chopped cilantro and parsley.
  9. Cook on medium heat for about 2 hours.
  10. Remove the chicken out of the soup and cut it into small pieces. Remove the bones, and if you like the skin from the chicken. Add all the parts that you want back to the soup and add the noodles. Cook for another 15 minutes.
  11. Your soup is done and ready to serve.
