300gcanned tuna
1onion
1celery stick
3garlic cloves
1tbspolives
1tspcapers
1red pepper
70gtomato paste
1handfulcilantro
950mlwater
  1. Rinse your vegetables thoroughly and drain the tuna.
  2. Start by peeling the garlic and onion.
  3. Next, chop the onion and mince the garlic.
  4. Cut the red pepper into small cubes.
  5. Chop the cilantro and set it aside.
  6. Add olive oil to a large pot and place it on medium-high heat. Add the onion, red pepper, chopped celery, olives, and capers. Sauté for about a minute.
  7. Stir in the garlic and tomato paste, and sauté for another 30 seconds.
  8. Add the tuna and sauté for one minute, stirring constantly.
  9. Pour water into the pot and add salt and the chopped cilantro. Let it come to a boil.
