ingredients for a healthy hash browns casserole recipe

  • potatoes.

We are doing a mix of Russels potatoes and sweet potatoes. The vegetable is rich in starch, vitamins, minerals and fiber. Thanks to the vitamin C the potato is rich in antioxidants.
  • sweet potatoes.

The large starchy vegetable has orange flesh and a sweet taste. The combination of the salty and sweet potato is perfect for this casserole as they balance each other out.
  • onions.

You are free to use yellow or red onions.
  • eggs.

The eggs combine the mass perfectly together
  • plantain flour.

A very healthy alternative to regular wheat flour. Plantain flour is perfect for weight loss, diabetes, and helps lower cholesterol. Plantain flour is made by dehydrating plantains and then pulverizing it. The plantain itself is a super healthy starchy fruit. The flour is rich in antioxidants, anti- inflammatory, rich in fiber, vitamin B6, which may help if you suffer from PMS, depression and anxiety.
  • olive oil.

Just a little bit to add some healthy fat.
  • spices.

For this recipe we are using salt, italian oregano, and nutmeg.
