This dish is a vibrant, colorful, flavorful, delicious one-pot dish. I love the optional toppings that you garnish the dish with when serving. They make the ground beef and rice dish flavorful and fresh.

ingredients for the fried rice with ground beef recipe

  • Rice.

Basmati or Jasmine rice is the perfect choice for this recipe.
  • Ground beef.

Fresh ground beef is used for this rice dish.
  • Pepper.

red, yellow, and green bell pepper are the perfect choice for this ground beef recipe, but if you prefer one color, use it instead of the other colors.
  • Onion.

Red onion is my favorite choice, but you are free to use any onion for this dish.
  • Garlic.

Juicy garlic cloves for the perfect flavor.
  • Tomato paste.

The tomato paste will add so much flavor together with the spices and give the dish a beautiful color.
  • Cilantro.

The herb will add so much flavor and freshness to the dish.
  • Parsley.

If you don't have fresh parsley, use dried or frozen instead.
  • Spices.

One of the most important spices is smoked paprika. This is the star of all spices used in this recipe.
  • Tomatoes.

We need tomatoes for the tomato salad, which will be the fresh side dish for the rice skillet.
  • Sour cream.

Rounds everything up. I use plain sour cream. The tomato salad already has so much flavor it fits perfectly.
  • Lime.

This will be needed for the salad dressing.
